Library Material Pick Up & Return during E-Learning - College of Charleston Libraries

While Addlestone Library is physically closed, the following procedures are in place to return and pick up physical materials from Addlestone Library’s circulating collections.

Return

All books, including ILL and PASCAL returns, should be left in the book drops located behind the library on Rivers Green and in the library parking lot–no appointment needed. Technology items may be returned by appointment. Late fees will not accrue during e-learning. Please keep items until after the e-learning period ends if you or someone in your household has been ill.

Pick Up

CofC students, faculty, and staff can request Addlestone Library circulating books and DVDs for pick up. Requests for articles and book chapters should be placed through Interlibrary Loan.

Laptop availability is extremely limited. Before requesting a laptop, please check availability and read our policy.

Pick up appointments will take place at the library parking lot (AD Lot; Pitt Street entrance). Appointment slots are individual to maintain recommended social distancing.
