Looking for a Fall 2021 course that is exclusively online? Look no further than LIBR 106 Special Topics: Data Visualization and Information Literacy (CRN: 12240). LIBR 106 takes place in Express I (August 24 – October 8, 2021) and is worth one credit hour.

In this class, students will:

  • Explore storytelling skills using data.
  • Perform data validation.
  • Proficiently use basic visualization tools.
  • Distinguish appropriate types of visualization for the data; maps, charts, diagrams, graphs, animations, etc.
  • Create effective visualizations.
