Curious about library spaces available to students and staff? Keep reading to find out more!

Quiet conversation and Zoom are permitted on the 1st floor of Addlestone Library while the 2nd and 3rd floors are reserved for silent study and listening only through earbuds on Zoom. Study Rooms for quiet conversation and Zoom may also be reserved by CofC students for course study and other curricular activities. The following rooms are available for group quiet conversation and Zoom without a reservation when not in use for library instruction: 120, 122, 127, 227, & 360. Posted calendars show room availability. The following room is available for silent study without a reservation: 311.

Addlestone Room 326 is the Graduate Study Room. It is located on the 3rd floor of the library, on the Calhoun Street side of the building. This study room is for use by CofC graduate students only. The room is accessed via a keypad using a code. The Graduate School Office is responsible for distributing the code to CofC graduate students, so please reach out to them if you need access to the code.

Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
