Contractors erecting scaffolding  outside the library. They will remove a window on the second and third floor so they can bring in the tons  of steel that will comprise  the new mobile shelving.  There will be plywood window installed  temporarily.

The shelving company is dismantling all of the non-movable shelving.   We’ll put mobile shelving in some of this space (which stores books more efficiently), adding lots more seating for students and  power for their electronic devices.

Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
