Library Borrowing - College of Charleston Libraries

When borrowing from the library’s General and Browsing Collections, make sure you know how long you can check out the books.

Undergraduate: 28 days with 2 optional renewals

Graduate: 60 days with 2 optional renewals

Faculty: 180 days with 2 optional renewals

In addition to the new leisurely reading arrivals at the Rivers Green entrance to Addlestone Library, you can find more of our Browsing Book Collection on the second floor by the Coming Street Elevator.

If you have a temporary need, you can also borrow library laptops for up to 7 days. Additionally, you can check out other technology items, like phone and laptop chargers.

Remember, as CofC students or faculty, you have access to a growing collection of amazing technology and tools that can be used to your advantage.
